Safety and Loss Control Capabilities and Resources

TADSIG Safety & Loss Control Resources >>>>

A safe workplace makes good business sense and is essential to the long term success of TADSIG.  That’s why TADSIG is strongly committed to providing proactive loss control services through Brentwood Services Administrators, Inc. (BSA) and encourages every member to promote safety in the workplace.

The BSA loss control team is experienced in designing and implementing loss control programs aimed at preventing injuries and reducing losses specific to Texas automobile dealers.  The TADSIG loss control program will build on and enhance safety programs already in effect. Onsite training and assistance in establishing safety committees and incentive programs will be offered in order to motivate employees to be safety conscious.

  • BSA Loss Control Consultants will visit your dealership during the year and provide the following services for you:

  • On site surveys for hazard identification and work practice evaluations

  • Review of loss control policy and program development to meet specific needs of clients

  • Written reports with appropriate summary of activities, listing of hazards and loss problems with recommendations for improvement

  • Management consultation to address specific problems

  • Assistance with OSHA compliance

  • Assistance with supervisor and employee safety training

  • Accident analysis and investigation to identify trends and problem areas

  • Audiometric, ergonomic and certain industrial hygiene services as needed

  • Training resources including an extensive video library

The BSA loss control team will also be involved in post accident investigation.  Assistance will be provided for job redesign for injured employees to enable them to return to work.  This not only reduces cost but also increases employee morale; studies have shown that the injured employee’s recovery rate increases if they are returned to work.  Our claims and loss control departments work closely to assure effective case management in controlling workers’ compensation costs.
